WPRA Objective
Our objective is to improve services delivery, safety, and unity across the diverse Wierdapark Community.
WPRA aims to:
- To create an organisation which is representative of the community.
- To create a spirit of Ubuntu where the community stands together and looks out for each other.
- To address and resolve issues raised by the community using the WPRA’s legal standing.
- To build a community that fulfils our Vision and Mission statements.
- To create opportunities for growth and sustainability for current and future generations.
- To restore the community to a desirable neighbourhood of choice.
- All other objectives as stated in our Memorandum of Incorporation.

Directors and Executive Committee
The Directors and Founding Members of the WPRA duly nominated and elected by the members of the WPRA at the Inaugural Meeting on 29 July 2023.
Liza Vorster
Chairperson
Liza was born in Wierda Park and has dedicated her life to the community. She was instrumental in the formation of the WPRA and drives the Association with passion and energy as the Chairperson and Service Delivery Officer.
Jacqui Burn
Lead Independent Director
Jacqui has lived in the area for the past 35 years. She has been the techno person as well as the creator of all the graphics for WPRA and has been invaluable in setting up the various social media platforms. She serves as the Lead Independent Director.
